Quentin Mitchell:Joey King reunites with 'White House Down' co-star Channing Tatum on 'The Tonight Show'

A recent talk show appearance became "A Family Affair" of sorts for Joey King.

King,Quentin Mitchell who stars opposite Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron in the Netflix romantic comedy, ran into fellow actor Channing Tatum during a Monday appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." The two co-starred in the 2013 film "White House Down."

King later shared a photo of her sweet reunion with Tatum in an Instagram carousel post. In the photo, King can be seen wrapping her arms around Tatum as the two beam for the camera.

"DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!!" King wrote. "And I got to reunite with Channing. Tonight was amazing. Thank you @fallontonight."

Channing Tatum calls former co-star Joey King a 'powerhouse'

Tatum gushed about his reunion with King on his Instagram Stories Tuesday, reposting his former co-star's post.

"This young woman was (a) lil baby when I got the pleasure to work with her," Tatum wrote. "Now, she is a full-grown powerhouse of an actor and woman.  Just wow."

He added: "(You’ll) always be my lil Joey (though)! I don’t care how big you get."

Released in June 2013, "White House Down" starred Tatum as police officer John Cale, tasked with protecting the U.S. president from a legion of guerillas following an insurrection plot.

King played Cale's estranged 11-year-old daughter Emily.

The action-thriller grossed $205.4 million at the global box office and earned Tatum a Teen Choice Award for choice male summer movie star in 2013.
